Some tips It is always good to know how to clean the mattress we use daily, considering the dirt that accumulates in it, and this is a surface where we spend so much time. It is well known that mites and dead skin cells live in it, but many mattresses also contain blood, sweat, urine and other body fluids, along with mold and mildew growing on all these things. Once you know this, you're probably thinking that with all of this, you'll never be able to sleep better, but you do not have to worry. Just follow the next few tips and you will know how to clean the mattress in your room. Before cleaning the mattress, remove and wash your bedding. Wash and dry your pillow first, then the sheets and finally your quilt or duvet. Use the hottest temperature allowed for both water and drying in the machine if this is the case. The heat will kill the mites.
How to Clean the Mattress:
1. Aspire it
• The upholstery accessory that usually comes with your vacuum cleaner is your primary ally to clean the mattress. Start at the top, scroll down, and then inhale in the same way.
2. Deodorize it
• To clean the mold mattress, sprinkle it thoroughly with baking soda and rub it with a hard bristle brush.
If you want to perfume your mattress, mix with the baking soda a few drops of oil of your favorite aroma. Lavender is reputed to be a good aid to sleep. Let the baking soda settle for 10 minutes.
3. Aspirate It Again
• Then vacuum the mattress again. Vacuuming now will help pull out the moisture and will also ensure that you do not wake up coated with dust residue the next day.
4. Remove stains
• Mattresses usually get three types of blemishes: blood, urine, and what we call "other body fluids." The ideal would be to remove the stains immediately with cold water and a little dishwashing detergent (hot water enhances these types of stains), but sometimes sleep is more important and stains end up staying longer on the mattress than it would be to wait.
